TY Personal Statement 2017
The reasons I want to do TY:
The 3 main reasons I want to do TY are..
1) I would like to become closer with my classmates in my year. In TY I think that there would be a lot of team bonding and group work required. I would really like to improve my team work skills and I believe that TY would be the perfect experience to do so.
2) Another reason I would like to do TY is because I have a great interest in entering a few of the competitions available. I would really like to enter, for example, The BT Young Scientist Competition. I think that if I entered a few competitions it would help me to become more confident and put me outside of my comfort zone
3) The third reason why I would like to do TY is that I would like to build up my CV. I think that TY is a great opportunity to do so. Not only will it allow me to build up my CV but it will also be helpful to me when I am attending college or working. I find that these opportunities will prepare me for life after school.
