On Tuesday, January 9th, Anne Hall visited our school to tell us about nutrition. She spoke to us about the food pyramid, healthy eating, and what to avoid in our diet. She spoke to us about sugar, flavoured drinks and much more. She informed us about the 6 things that we should eat on a daily basis, bananas, broccoli, blueberries, nuts, fish and raspberries. She told us different foods we can eat for breakfast. Things such as porridge, meuli, eggs and fruit. She also outlined the importance of having a healthy, balanced diet.
Conclusion
Overall, I found out lots of new things that will help me stay healthy in the future. I enjoyed the talk and am interested in learning more on the topic.
