In September all TY's learned that we were not doing a musical we were doing a variety show. With help from the TY's and many teachers such as Mr Coughlan we came up with GAA With a Twist. It was a one night event. I was excited to hear this because I thought we would all get an equal opportunity to showcase our talents and abilities at the show. We began rehearsing in October for the big night. I had no major role in the play but I had to learn the songs and the dances. We sang many songs such as 'Silent Night', 'Many Young Men of Twenty' and 'Grease Lightning'. I also enjoyed helping out painting the set and helping others learn their lines.
Overall I had a great night and really enjoyed this experience.
